That “More” Is What I Offer

Every experienced DJ will tell you that they “can pack the dance floor” or “make people dance” and that’s great! That is definitely part of the DJs job, but for only a short period of time. There is much more to a wedding then just a packed dance floor.

And having a strong customer service background is a very big part of that!

Its ALL About The DETAILS

What is more important on your wedding day, more then a packed dance floor?

Details like the power and extension cords not being visible to guests. Will they show up on the pictures and videos? It is very important during a DJ setup to consider what will the guests see, and how will the pictures turn out.

Lighting Up The Room

In the past I have worked a wedding where the Photo Booth was set up in a dark corner, hidden almost. And the pictures that were taken came out too dark. I took two of my wireless lights, placed them on both ends of the Booth and with that extra light guests were able to take home some amazing and fun colored pictures. The staff loved it as well!

At another wedding the lights were too dim, and the wedding cake was set in a dark corner. Having some photography background I knew that the pictures would turn out either too bright or plain. I had grabbed one of my wireless lights and bounced the light off the wall onto the couple giving them a very nice soft glow. The photographer thanked me later.

Going The Extra Mile

As DJs we always announce and ask guests to sign the guest book, but some might forget.

Will your DJ go the extra mile to make sure your guest book is COMPLETELY signed?

I take it up on myself during cocktail hour, or dinner time to approach each guest and ask them kindly to sign the guest book. Personally I would love to see a fully signed guest book at my wedding!
